Simply send in a photo (mail or email) of your race car in the Winners Circle, with a Baker Engineered Racing Engines sticker displayed somewhere on the race car, and we will issue you shop credit at Baker Engineering. Win your Points Championship, and we'll give you even more. The credit can be used toward engine services next time you need it. This applies to all classes.

2011 Winners Circle

The Michigan racing season kicked off with several Baker powered favorites ady taking checkered flags! Terry Senneker, Dave Lake, Tom Thomas, Rich Neiser, Jesse Baker and Brandon Hermiller all posted wins at various dirt and asphalt tracks within the first two weekends.
Terry VanHaitsma took his first checkered flag of the season at Berlin Raceway on July 2. VanHaitsma led three Baker powered late models to the top three spots on the star-spangled July night, with Steve Needles taking second, andTerry Senneker in third.
Rich Neiser continues to dominate the Dirt Tracks with a win a Thunderbird on July 9. Richie has already posted several wins at his home track, Winston Speedway this season.
2010 Highlights:
CRA SUPER SERIES CHAMPION:

Johnny VanDoorn and Kaos Motorsports
Johnny VanDoorn and the Kaos Motorsports crew cinched their second consecutive CRA Super Series Championship on Sunday, October 17, at Winchester Speedway. This is the first time in the history of CRA that a team has won back-to-back championships! VanDoorn needed only to start Sunday's race to win the championship title, but he never let up. In true Champion form, VanDoorn turned in the fastest qualifying lap time of 15.177 seconds to take the pole for the 39th Annual Winchester 400, and led more than 100 laps. He finished second to Chase Elliot in the grueling race.
In addition to 3 CRA Series race victories this season, VanDoorn was fast qualifier at 3 events, led 330 laps, and completed a whopping 99.8% of all laps!

Victory for Tom Thomas! Finally Tom's bad luck streak is behind him as he took the win Saturday night in the 100 lap Outlaw Super Late Model feature at Kalamazoo Speedway. Congratulations Tom and crew! Great to see you back in the winners circle.

NASCAR driver Mike Skinner drove the #97 Modified through a pack of tough competitors to take the 50-lap feature win at Berlin Raceway on August 28. Congratulations to Mike, and the Helen DeVos Childrens Hospital crew for another outstanding performance!

An action packed weekend for Richie Neiser and his crew paid off with back-to-back wins at two Muskegon area dirt tracks! Neiser found victory lane at Winston Motor Speedway on August 27, and followed it up with a win a Thunderbird Raceway on August 28. Contgratulations on a great weekend!
KALAMAZOO SPEEDWAY:

Another win for the TA Gentry Supply team at Kalamazoo Speedway! Terry Senneker returned to Kalamazoo Speedway on August 28 for the first time since his scary crash during the practice session for the Kalamazoo Klash and won the 50-lap Outlaw Super Late Model feature.
BERLIN RACEWAY:

Battling for a tight points race in the Super Stock division at Berlin Raceway, #55 Dave Lake was both the Fast Qualifier and the Feature winner on August 28. Congratulations to Dave and his crew!
TRACK RECORD + GLOLM FEATURE WIN AT KALAMAZOO:
Terry Senneker
Terry Senneker Jr. topped the all time mark at Kalamazoo Speedway with a time of 11.908, followed by the second TA Gentry team car driven by Steve Needles posting an 11.928, which also beat the previous track record. Senneker went on to win the Great Lakes Outlaw Late Model Series 75 lap event, besting a star-studded line up on a hot July night. Congratulations to Terry and the entire TA Gentry team!
NORTH vs. SOUTH SHOOTOUT 100 at OWOSSOW SPEEDWAY:

On Saturday, July 17, Johnny VanDoorn, the 2009 CRA Super Series Champion, drove the Port City Race Cars House Car to victory lane in the North vs. South Shootout 100 besting a strong 22-car field of Outlaw Super Late Models including several Owosso Speedway favorites.
USA MODIFIED WIN AT BERLIN:
Mike Bursley
The Racing Awareness Modified, supporting the Helen DeVos Children's Hospital foundation, posted another feature win in front of a capacity crowd at Berlin Raceway on Saturday, July 3. The new Modified is driven by Mike Bursley, and has been a top contender in every race this season! All the money raised throughout the year by this special Modified will be donated to Helen DeVos Children's Hospital Foundation at the end of the season. Baker Engineering is proud to be part of the Racing Awareness team making this possible.
UMP LATE MODEL WIN AT WINSTON:

Rich Neiser, driving #87, took the checkered flag in the UMP Late Models at Winston over the 4th of July weekend. The former Winston Speedway Season Champion has also won at Thunderbird Raceway and Mount Pleasant this season. Congratulations Richie!

It was a star-spangled win forTerry Senneker as he battled his way into victory lane at the All Star Shootout 100 lap race at Kalamazoo Speedway on July 4. Congratulations to Terry and the TA Gentry Supply team!
NASCAR DRIVER WINS AT BERLIN:
AJ Allmendinger
NASCAR Sprint Cup Series star AJ Allmendinger put on quite a show at Berlin Raceway as a guest driver of the Racing Awareness 97 Modified for a special mid-week show at the Berlin Raceway. AJ started the 50 lap Modified feature in the 7th position and quickly went to work steadily moving up through the field. On lap 30 he used a bold move to take the lead. In Victory Lane, AJ announced to the appreciative crowd that all of the winnings (this being the biggest purse of the year) would be donated to the Helen DeVos Children's Hospital Foundation. In the end, Allmendinger signed hundreds of autographs and was enthusiastic about his trip to West Michigan. Thanks AJ for a great show and for supporting our cause!
TRACK RECORD AT ANGOLA:

Congratulations to Steve Needles, #14, who set a new track record at Angola Speedway with a blazing time of 13:381 at the 3/8 mile oval track on June 10, 2010 during qualifying for the Stan Perry Memorial. TA Gentry Supply sponsored team mate Terry Senneker was second quick. Needles placed third in the 110 lap Late Model feature. Congratulations to Steve and the TA Gentry Supply team!
EAST vs. WEST SHOOTOUT AT DIXIE:

Terry Senneker collected the first win of the 2010 Dixie Cup Triple Crown Series for Outlaw Super Late Models on June 11 at Dixie Motor Speedway in Birch Run by winning the 2nd Annual East vs. West Shootout 100. Congratulations Terry!
