Engine dynamometer testing, and chassis dyno testing are both available on site at Baker Engineering. A 1500 HPp engine dyno with sophisticated DEPAC data acquisition software documents horsepower, and allows fine-tuning of the engines before they are installed in the vehicle. This invaluable step in the process gives customers peace-of-mind. When customers pick up their engine, they know it’s track-or-street ready.

While the engine dyno provides horsepower numbers for the motor itself, Baker Engineering’s 1200 Hp DynoJet chassis dynamometer determines horsepower at the wheel. This valuable tool lets customers try different set-ups and components to maximize the amount of horsepower that makes it to the wheel. Street cars and race vehicles of all types benefit from a few “pulls” on the chassis dyno. Appointments are necessary (call a few days in advance). For two-wheel drive vehicles only (front or rear).

Rates: $50 / single pull, $75 if air/fuel ratio is recorded, or $125/hr including technician ($75 per hour after the first hour).
