NOW AS9100D AND ISO 9001:2015 CERTIFIED!

BEI has expanded it's quality certifications to include AS 9100 and the new ISO 9001:2015 registrations.  The AS 9100D Quality Management System registration allows BEI to manufacture parts for the aerospace industry. Congratulations to the BEI team for making it happen!

ANOTHER GREAT PRI SHOW IN INDY!

More than 40,000 industry professional visited the PRI show this year, and many of them were stopped by the 3000 Hp billet turbo LS engine BEI had on display, as well as the new Outlaw Pro Mod featuring a twin turbo LS engine designed and built by BEI. Thanks to all of our customers, new and old, that stopped by the booth. It was great to be back in Indy, and great to reconnect with both customers and Pro/Cam distributors.

THOMAS EARNS NASCAR WHELEN ALL-AMERICAN MICHIGAN STATE CHAMPIONSHIP!

For the second consecutive year, Tom Thomas has been crowned the NASCAR Whelen All-American Michigan State Champion in Division 1.  Thomas accumulated points at both Kalamazoo Speedway and Berlin Raceway throughout the season to earn this award.  State Champions are recognized at a NASCAR Home Tracks banquet at the NASCAR Hall of Fame in Charlott, NC. Along with prize money and trophies, winners also receive a new fire suit with Michigan State Champion embroidered, racing shoes and other prizes."It's really cool and a great honor. And Baker Engineering has helped make this possible," commented Thomas. NASCAR keeps track of the top 500 in National points as well and this year Thomas ranked 54th in the Nation.

FASTEST STOCK BOTTOM END LS IN THE WORLD at 7.72

Jon Capizzi's L33-powered Fox body Mustang was not only the fastest car at the track during LS Fest East, but the fastest stock bottom end LS in the world!  Jon's fastest pass was a 7.72 at 174.57 in the quarter-mile—shattering his previous record by nearly a full tenth of a second. BERLIN RACEWAY TRACK CHAMPION 2017!


Dave Lake and the 97L modified team won the Modified Championship at Berlin Raceway, topping off the season with another feature win. Congratulations to Dave and the entire Racing Awareness crew. ONE NIGHT, THREE WINS AT BERLIN!

 As the season wraps up, thing are heating up at the track.  Baker engines powered the winners in three separate classes on August 19 at Berlin Raceway. Congratulations to Tom Thomas and Terry VanHaistma for winning the Super Late Model features, and Dave Lake for taking the checkered flag in the Modfieds. Great night for the Racing Awareness crew!

TWO TRACKS, LOTS OF WINS FOR NEISER!

Congratulations to Rich Neiser for putting his dirt Late Model in the winners circle at Thunderbird Raceway on August 19.  The former track champ has now posted three wins at Winston this season and three at Thunderbird. This is the sixth year that Neiser has powered his Late Model with a Baker built engine that runs on E-85..
